We will be helping our non-Confirmed adults with a program of coming to know one's faith in a simple and clear way, to eventually be confirmed this spring. The course has begun! We meet Thursdays at 7:00 (following 6:30 Mass in the chapel). All are welcome.
You may have heard! A non-profit called Mennonite Disaster Services (MDS) is here in Dulac volunteering their time and labor to help our community rebuild. They are staying at the VFW Hall where they cook, sleep, and have an office space. They are committed through May 2022. They provide the labor for the work, but the materials needed to rebuild or repair a home have to be provided. Through a combination of homeowner's money from FEMA or insurance and the help of benefactors, we have been able to fund many of these repair projects and 6 total home builds. Other repairs are still needed. If you need help repairing your home, please stop by the church during office hours to provide your information and it can be assessed. Be prepared to contribute the funds you have for repairs on your home. If there is a gap in funding, we can reach out to benefactors. If you are blessed with the ability to help a family in need, we can pair you up with a repair project in Dulac that lacks homeowner funding. We are available to discuss this Monday to Thursday from 9 AM to 4 PM.

Our new Adoration Chapel, dedicated to Saints Kateri and Jean Marie Vianney, is now open for prayer 24 hours a day. Contact us for the key code to get in.
Thanks to our iGiveCatholic fundraiser and the generous donations of our supporters, our 24-hour Adoration chapel construction is well underway. The chapel is located through the corridor that connects the church to the rectory and is the first door on the left. When it is completed, it will be accessible anytime day or night by using a key code. We will officially bless the Chapel on Palm Sunday, 2021.
Per the Bishop's recommendations for our diocese as of early 2021, we are currently celebrating Masses inside our Church while respecting the social distancing. All pews are now OPEN. We have added a Sunday evening 4 pm Mass to accommodate the guidelines. Everyone is still asked to wear a mask for the duration of the Mass. We live stream the Sunday morning Mass as well, on our website here, on Facebook, and on our Youtube channel. Thank you for your perseverance of faith and patience as we work our way through this very fluid situation. God bless you and best wishes of holiness, - Fr. Antonio
Did you know that you can support our church just by shopping on Amazon.com? It's true! Amazon will donate a percentage of your purchases directly to our church when you shop through our link (click the heading above that says "amazon smile"). On a desktop browser, simply follow the link to the Amazon Smile page, and our charity (Holy Family Catholic Church) will be selected for you-- start shopping! If you are tech-savvy and normally shop through the Amazon App on your phone, please follow these instructions to make it easier to support our church. Unfortunately, you can’t use Amazon smile directly through the Amazon app, but there is an easy workaround. Delete the Amazon app and replace it with a link to the Amazon Smile mobile page. To do this, navigate to smile.amazon.com on your phone's web browser. Then, on an iPhone, press the “share” button, then select “Add to HomeScreen.” On an Android device, press the menu button, then tap “Page”. Then tap “Add page shortcut.” This link/icon will function the same way as the app when you shop. Thanks for helping support our Parish mission!
