    • News: Hurricane ida

Hurricane Ida devastated our area and damaged our church on August 29, 2021.Through it all, we have seen so much generosity and people coming together to help in the name of Christ. God bless you all who have contributed with money, supplies, and volunteered their time over the past year. You are such a blessing to our suffering people. Its not over yet, and we still have a long way to go in our recovery from the storm.

Our main church is damaged beyond use currently, so in the meantime we have moved our weekend Masses to our KC Hall. We also have daily Mass Thursday at 6:00 PM in the chapel at Holy Family, and Fridays during Lent at 4 PM in the KC Hall, followed by Stations of the Cross.

      Saturday Vigil: 4 PM
Sunday: 11 AM | 5 PM Spanish Mass

You are welcome to join us in our adoration chapel for private prayer 24/7.
For all your funeral needs and your sacramental records requests, please come to the office in person Monday through Thursday 9am - 1pm.

    • HOW CAN I HELP!?

Everyone has a role to play in rebuilding our community. There are MANY ways someone can assist.

Financial support is the most helpful at this stage. We are asking for monetary donations via offetory collection, or our online giving page (click give at the top).

Checks can be made out to Holy Family Church (with "Hurricane Ida Relief written in the memo if you choose) and dropped off at the church or mailed to the address below:

      Holy Family Church
      PO Box 87
      Dulac, LA 70353

We also need  manpower (volunteer labor) to help us with some in-home repair projects. This can be highschool or college students, your prayer group, your football team, your mens club, etc.  If you are physically capable of working, we can put you to work! No skills required!

We can  house volunteers overnight in our multipurpose facility (a dorm like setting). Cots, restrooms, kitchen, and showers are available there. We cannot house anyone under 18 overnight however.

Please call the church office if interested in helping.

We are accepting donations of some material goods. We have a Free Clothing Garage where we allow people to "shop" for their size on Thursdays and Saturdays. We are currently accepting men's, women's, and children's clothing, shoes, and coats. Hats and gloves are also welcomed in the winter months. They must be in good condition (no rips or stains) and preferably sorted before drop off.

We need  prayers for our people. For Dulac, Terrebonne Parish, and all of SE Louisiana!
